Engage – Empower – Enjoy
Who we are
Geography Victoria is the most recently formed state-based geographical society in Australia.
As with the other geographical associations (RGSQ, RGSSA and GEOGSOC), we are a voluntary not-for-profit organisation that brings together people of all ages who share an interest in geography, place and the environment.
Geography Victoria is an affiliate of The Royal Society of Victoria.
The formation of Geography Victoria addresses a key recommendation of the National Committee for Geographical Sciences in 2018 and redresses the lack of a geographical organisation in Victoria.
