Join Geography Victoria for a special screening of Ocean with David Attenborough – a breathtaking and award-winning documentary celebrating the wonder, beauty and importance of our oceans.
Presented by Geography Victoria in partnership with The Royal Society of Victoria, this free screening celebrates both David Attenborough’s 100th birthday and World Ocean Day. The film offers a powerful exploration of the ocean’s vitality, fragility, and the urgent need for its protection.
Following the screening, guests are warmly invited to stay for afternoon tea and a panel discussion featuring emerging researchers from The University of Melbourne working in marine and environmental fields. Hear from the next generation of scientists as they share insights into the exciting research, discoveries and challenges shaping our understanding of the marine environment today.
